St1 Biokraft appoints Hedvig Paradis as new Head of Upstream Growth

St1 Biokraft, one of the leading Nordic biomethane players, strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Hedvig Paradis to the role Head of Upstream Growth. The new role carries the responsibility for accelerating the company’s strategic growth in the Nordics. Hedvig will start on May 4th, 2026.
St1 Biokraft has ambitious growth targets of reaching 3 TWh of own production and 6 TWh in sales and distribution by 2030. The new role of Head of Upstream Growth will take on the responsibility of driving the strategic growth initiatives in the Nordics and leading the upstream growth organization. Hedvig Paradis joins the company from Stegra, previously H2 Green Steel, where she held the position of VP Hydrogen.

Hedvig has a long industrial background with several positions at Scania and Traton. She also has a PhD in Energy Sciences from Lund’s University.
